A Hall for All

Built by the community for the community

The Hall was built by the local community and now welcomes everyone from the village itself and also the surrounding area. To replace the dilapidated old wooden hut, which was the original village hall, the whole community worked for almost ten years to raise over £157,000. With this money and a variety of grants and a number of smaller donations, the new hall was built.

The Hall was opened in 2007 and provides one of the best Village Hall facilities in NE Hampshire. Situated in the centre of the village with it's own dedicated car parking, alongside the Village Green, the Hall is an ideal venue for all types of community, private and corporate activities, including clubs and leisure groups, weddings, parties for adults and children, corporate meetings and training courses (up to 5 break-out rooms can be arranged). The popular Swan public house is directly opposite and for those not supplying their own food, provides full restaurant facilities.

The hall is an Independent Charitable Foundation run by a board of trustees
